In the final installment for making the Jack O’-Lantern illustration, I’ve a tutorial for making a DIY clay crow. He’s really simply made with just forming a clay shape over some aluminum foil, using some armature wire, acrylic paint, and feathers (I’m quite pleased with my use of feathers on this!). You could use this simple technique in making a polymer clay bird of whatever type you like, just modify the shapes slightly and paint colors and patterns that match your favorite bird.
